JPAC TEAMS RETURN FROM LAOS AFTER SEARCHING FOR MISSING AIRCREWS

HICKAM AFB, HAWAII – After a month of searching for information associated with Americans missing from the Vietnam War, five JPAC teams returned from Laos this week to Hawaii.

Two of the four recovery teams found evidence which will be turned over to the JPAC Central Identification Laboratory. There, JPAC scientists will analyze the items to substantiate any link to unaccounted-for service members.

An investigative team also traveled throughout Laos to interview witnesses in hopes of scheduling future excavations during the mission.

This was the 95th Joint Field Activity in Laos.
